Bwindi forest has 346 species of birds and contain 90% of all Albertine rift valley endemics. Experience birdwatchers can spot 100 species of birds per day. Entebbe botanical gardens, Lutembe bay and famous Mabamba wetland hosts over 300 bird species that include many globally threatened bird species, this birding destination is known for the prehistoric shoe bill stork and other migrant birds like the blue swallow.

  3. Day 3 Transfer to Budongo forests .

  5. Day 5 Half birding at kaningo, pabidi and transfer to Murchison falls national park.

    Kaniyo pabidi forest is a significant area in Uganda known for its bird life which supports birding safaris in Murchison falls national park. You will obviously meet many forest birds such as the chocolate-backed king fisher, the white thighed hornbill and puvel’s illadopsis found nowhere else in Uganda.

    The bird life in Murchison falls is good year-round, but at its best from January to March. This is the low tourist season, but there is plenty of bird activity. December has the least rain while April to May and august to October have the most it is the home for the seriously ‘’sought for’’ prehistoric bird the shoe bill stork, Abyssinian ground hornbill secretary birds and grey crowned crane.

  8. Day 8 Birding in Kabongo Forest and Transfer to Hoima

    Kabongo forest is located on island of tropical river forest. It is where one can spot some primates the red tailed monkey and some bird species like crested guinea fowl, crowned eagle, grey headed sun bird, ituri batis, little green sunbird, and brown twin spot.

  9. Day 9 Transfer to Kibale National Park

  10. DAY 10 Birding in Kibale and Bigodi Wetland

    The best month of birding starts from March to Mey and September to November. Kibale is a bider watcher paradise. More 370 species have been recorded and many are forest species including the sought after African pitta,yellow billed barbet and African emerald.

  11. Day 11 Transfer to queen Elizabeth national park.

    Birding watching is possible all year round at Queen Elizabeth national park. Mweya peninsular is one of the birding destinations and it harbors bird species like African skimmers, great white pelican. While in Queen Elizabeth national park you can’t miss a chance birding around Lake Munyanyange the only birding area for the great lesser flamingo in Uganda

  12. Day 12  Full day birding queen Elizabeth National Park

    Morning birding around Kashenyi plains and Kikorongo areas for species like grassland pipits, spar winged lapwing and allow marked babra.

    The boat cruise along kazinga channel which gives you a chance to observe a number of water birds like the white breasted comorant, pink backed pelican, the see galls, afrikan skimmers and and even you will have a chance to observe elephant swimming and a lot of crocodiles basking.

  13. Day 13 Transfer to Bwind Impenetrable National Park

  14. Day 14 Birding Around Buhoma Sector

    Bird watching in buhoma is best done in the morning and evening folowing different birding trails like the ivy river trail, waterfall trai,rushura hill trail, habinyanja trail, muzubajiro loop trail, munyanga river trail.
    Return to the lodge around afternoon and take the rest of the day for relaxation at the lodge until dinner and overnight
